Chalet Astral

Chalet Astral is a private estate in the Les Esserts quarter of Verbier. It is made up of two houses, linked through the garage and served by a lift. The nearest pistes are a minute away by car, and skiers can glide into the wider Verbier ski area from there. The Savoleyres and Médran lifts and the village centre are a few minutes’ drive away. A chauffeur with a seven-seater is on call from 8am until 1am.

Together the two houses cover 1,500 m² and sleep 18 guests in nine double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two master suites share the top floor of the main house, each with a fireplace, a balcony and a dressing area. Four further doubles sit on the floor below, most opening onto a terrace. The second house has a third master suite with a fireplace and a private lounge, and two more doubles with terrace access.

The chalet is designed for large groups. A 17-metre indoor pool runs along a glass wall framing the mountains, and a covered outdoor hot tub, a sauna, a hammam and a massage room complete the spa. There are two gym rooms. For entertainment, there is a 3D cinema, a bowling alley and a bar with billiards, pool and table football. A video games room and a poker room complete the line-up, the poker room looking onto a glass-walled wine cellar.

There are fireplaces throughout, and a terrace and garden. The dining table seats twelve, with a second table so all eighteen guests can dine together. A ten-person meeting room and an office make the chalet suitable for working stays or corporate retreats.

On the catered package, a chef, a chalet manager, hosts and housekeepers look after the household. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily, and dinner is prepared six nights a week; food and drink are charged at cost. A self-catered option is also available. Lift passes are delivered to the chalet, and helicopter transfers, private guides, childcare and in-chalet treatments can be arranged on request.
