Our Zermatt collection is intentionally small. We work with two chalets here, both in the heart of the village and both visited by our team before joining the collection. We would rather offer a short list we know intimately than a long one we cannot vouch for, and when neither residence suits your dates, we can look at others that are not published online.

A village without cars
Most international guests fly into Geneva or Zurich and continue towards the Mattertal. Because Zermatt is car-free, the last stretch is made by train, with private vehicles left in the valley below. We arrange chauffeurs and transfers to that point and think through the luggage, so that skis and suitcases follow without fuss. Helicopter transfers can also be organised on request.
Once in the village, the car-free rule becomes one of Zermatt’s pleasures. Children can walk to ski school, evenings begin with a stroll rather than a parking search, and the air is quieter than in most resorts. For Chalet Anelle, an electric taxi meets guests at the station, which makes the first moments of the stay feel considered.

Zermatt’s ski area climbs high around the Matterhorn and links with the Italian slopes of Cervinia, so strong skiers can lunch in another country and return by afternoon. Those who prefer a slower day can walk the village, ride a mountain railway for the view or spend the afternoon in the chalet spa. Your private concierge helps plan the week around the weather and your energy.
Your mornings begin with breakfast, served daily as part of the stay, and dinners at the chalet can be cooked by a private chef. When you would rather dine out, we take care of restaurant reservations in the village and on the mountain. How do we reach a chalet if Zermatt has no cars?
Guests travel by road or rail to the valley below and continue by train into the village. For Chalet Anelle, an electric taxi meets guests at the station. We organise chauffeurs and transfers up to that point.
Can we see the Matterhorn from the village?
The Matterhorn dominates the view from much of Zermatt and from the ski area. Chalet Zeyr enjoys spectacular mountain views, and we can tell you more about the outlook from each chalet when we prepare your proposal.
Is Zermatt suitable for families with young children?
Many families love it, because the car-free streets make walking around the village relaxed. Childcare can be arranged on request, and Chalet Anelle’s private lift is practical for pushchairs and grandparents alike.
