In brief

Speak to Nathalie or Adam

The journey to Courchevel is part of the holiday, for better or worse. Mountain roads in winter, luggage, skis and tired children after a flight can make the last stretch feel the longest. Booking a Courchevel chalet with chauffeur and transfers arranged in advance means someone is waiting when you land, and the same care continues on each day you spend in the resort.

Courchevel is part of Les 3 Vallées and spreads across several villages at different altitudes, from Courchevel Village and Courchevel 1650 Moriond to Courchevel 1850. Moving between them, or up from the valley, is simple with a driver who knows the roads. Chauffeurs and transfers, helicopter transfers and private aviation are all among the concierge services we arrange on request.

This page is for travellers, and the assistants who plan for them, who want the logistics of a ski holiday handled properly: how you can arrive, how to move around the resort, and how the choice of chalet affects your daily journeys.

Arriving

Road, helicopter or the altiport

Many travellers fly into Geneva or another of the region’s airports and continue by road. A chauffeured transfer can be arranged to meet you in arrivals, with space for luggage and ski equipment, and the drive is planned around your flight times so nobody waits in the cold. Weather is part of an Alpine winter, and your dedicated contact keeps an eye on the arrival day so plans can change if needed.

For a quicker final leg, helicopter transfers can be organised on request, and Courchevel has its own altiport above the resort, used by light aircraft and helicopters when conditions allow. Private jets and private aviation more broadly can also be arranged through the concierge. We coordinate everything from landing to the chalet door, so the change from aircraft to car feels effortless.

During the stay

Getting around the villages of Courchevel

Once you are settled, a chauffeur can be arranged on request for the daily rhythm of the stay: dropping skiers at the lifts in the morning, collecting them at the end of the day, taking the children to their lessons, or bringing you back from a restaurant in 1850 late at night. It removes the need for a car of your own and the search for parking in the busiest weeks.

The concierge plans these journeys alongside the rest of your programme, from restaurant reservations to spa appointments. If you would like a day in another resort of the Three Valleys, or an excursion away from the mountains, transport can be arranged in the same way. Your dedicated contact holds the full picture, so each driver knows exactly where to be and when.

Choosing the chalet

How location shapes your daily journeys

Where your chalet sits decides how much you will rely on a driver. Chalet Erise is a ski-in/ski-out retreat in Courchevel 1850, with the resort’s restaurants and boutiques about a twelve-minute walk away, so skiing starts at the door. Chalet Valmont is in the Cospillot quarter, right at the heart of Courchevel 1850. Chalet Flys, in Les Brigues in Courchevel Village, is about 100 metres from the pistes.

Other chalets favour calm over proximity. Chalet Oris sits at the edge of the forest in the Chenus area of Courchevel 1850, Chalet Osco is just outside the centre looking out over the surrounding peaks, Chalet Sally stands on the hillside of Les Brigues with wide views across the valley, and Chalet Dace occupies a quiet yet central corner of Courchevel 1650 Moriond, a short drive from 1850. For these, a chauffeur on request turns a peaceful setting into a practical one.

  • Ski-in/ski-out living at Chalet Erise
  • The heart of 1850 at Chalet Valmont
  • Quieter settings with a chauffeur on request
  • Options in Courchevel Village and 1650 Moriond

Questions

Good to know

Anything else? Our team in Paris answers personally, usually within the day.

Ask our team
Which airport should we use for a Courchevel chalet holiday?

Geneva is a common choice for international travellers, and other airports in the region also serve the Tarentaise valley. The right one depends on your flight options and on whether you plan to continue by road or by helicopter. Your advisor can help you weigh them for your dates.

Can you arrange a helicopter transfer to Courchevel?

Yes, helicopter transfers can be organised on request through the concierge. Courchevel has an altiport above the resort, and flights depend on weather conditions on the day. We always keep a road alternative ready so you are not left waiting if the weather turns.

Is a chauffeur included with the chalet?

A private concierge is included in every stay, and chauffeurs and transfers can be arranged on request. The details and the price, which is on request, appear in your tailored proposal. You can book a driver for the whole stay or only for particular journeys.

Do we need a car during our stay in Courchevel?

Usually not. With a chauffeur on request and the right chalet location, many guests choose not to drive at all. A ski-in/ski-out chalet reduces daily journeys further, and the concierge looks after evenings out and excursions.

Can you coordinate a private jet arrival?

Private jets and private aviation can be arranged on request. We coordinate the flight with the ground transfer or a connecting helicopter, so the journey from your departure airport to the chalet is handled as a single plan by your dedicated contact.
