Saint-Tropez villa with pool, chosen by the water you swim in
Six villas across the Saint-Tropez peninsula, Ramatuelle and Gassin, each with a heated pool, compared by shape, setting and the view you see from the water.
In brief
Speak to Nathalie or AdamOn the Saint-Tropez peninsula, the pool is where a summer day really happens. Breakfast is carried out to it, the hottest hours are spent beside it, and the last conversation of the evening often ends with feet in the water. So when guests ask us for a Saint-Tropez villa with pool, we take the request literally and begin with the water itself: its shape, what it looks out on and how it connects to the rest of the house.
Every residence in our Saint-Tropez collection has a heated pool, which means the real question is never whether there is one. It is whether you picture an infinity edge that seems to pour into the bay, a long basin for proper lengths before breakfast, a diving board and a cold plunge for children and the sporting, or a calm pool set among terraces facing the sea. Each points to a different kind of holiday.
This page walks through the six pools we know best, all seen in person by our team, and explains how we help guests choose between them. Sleeping arrangements and space for each residence appear in the table below, so here we concentrate on what photographs rarely tell you.

At Villa Calista, on the waterfront at the Pointe de la Rabiou inside the gated Parcs de Saint-Tropez, the heated infinity pool lies just below the main living room and its covered terraces, so that from the house the water and the bay read as one surface. It is the most theatrical pool in the collection. Villa Vittoria, right on the water at Les Canoubiers, takes another approach: its heated pool is set within gardens that run down towards the sea, giving swimmers the shoreline rather than an edge.
For those who swim seriously, Villa Orea is the natural address. In Les Marres along the Route des Plages, its heated pool runs to 18 metres, long enough for real lengths in the cool of the morning, and it is framed by gardens with open views over the vineyards to the sea. A hammam, a massage room and the villa’s own beauty salon are part of the house, so a swim can lead straight into a treatment.
Villa Solara, a few minutes’ walk from the beaches of Pampelonne in Ramatuelle, is the pool for a lively household. A diving board stands over the heated pool, a cold plunge pool and a hot tub sit alongside, and the sea is in view from the water. Children of different ages tend to share it happily, from the first jump of the morning to the contrast of hot tub and cold plunge at dusk.
- Infinity edge over the bay: Villa Calista
- Long heated pool for lengths, 18 metres: Villa Orea
- Diving board, cold plunge and hot tub: Villa Solara
- Pool and hot tub among sea view terraces: Villa Amara
- Pool gardens running down to the sea: Villa Vittoria
- Sunlit pool terraces above the Gulf: Villa Evara
Terraces, views and what surrounds the pool
A pool is only as good as the space around it. At Villa Amara, in Les Salins, a quiet residential corner of the peninsula, the heated pool and a hot tub are set among terraces that look out to sea, with a pétanque court nearby for the hour before dinner. The villa is divided between two independent buildings, which helps different parts of a household keep their own rhythm around the water.
Villa Evara, on the heights of Gassin within a private gated estate, gives the widest outlook of any pool we work with here. From its sunlit terraces the view takes in the bell tower of Saint-Tropez, the bay, the red peaks of the Estérel and, on a clear day, the Southern Alps. Outdoor lounges, a bar and a pétanque court surround the heated pool, which makes it as much a place for evening drinks as for swimming.
When we compare pools for guests, we also look at what the pictures leave out: where the shade falls at lunch, how far the water is from the kitchen, whether children can be watched from the terrace where the adults are sitting, and how secluded the pool feels. Our team answers these questions from its own visits, and they often settle the choice between two equally beautiful luxury villas in St Tropez.
Choosing by pool, then by setting
Pool and location usually pull in the same direction. Guests who want the beach close at hand often choose Villa Solara, with Pampelonne a short walk away, or Villa Orea, about eight minutes by car from both Pampelonne and the Place des Lices. Those drawn to the village tend towards Villa Vittoria, about six minutes by car from the Place des Lices, or Villa Calista, around twelve minutes from the square and about twenty from Pampelonne. Villa Amara is about ten minutes from the square, Villa Evara about twelve.
The service around the pool differs too. At Villa Vittoria, Villa Calista and Villa Solara, a private chef and a butler are included, so lunch can simply be served at the water’s edge; elsewhere, a chef is arranged on request. Vittoria and Calista each have a private helipad, useful when the peninsula’s roads are busy. Otherwise, the Golfe de Saint-Tropez airport is 15 km from Saint-Tropez, Toulon-Hyères is 52 km away, about an hour by car, and Nice Côte d’Azur is 94 km away, about an hour and a half.

Six heated pools on the peninsula
Each St Tropez villa below has a heated pool and has been visited by our team before joining the collection. Capacity, bedrooms and space are set out for each one in the table below.
What makes the difference
Every residence is visited by our team, every stay is followed by one dedicated contact, and breakfast and a private concierge are always included.
Pools described from experience
Our team visits every residence before it joins the collection, so we can tell you how the terraces are shaded and where the sun sits on the water in the afternoon. That first-hand knowledge lets us compare pools honestly rather than by photograph.
Matched to who will swim
A lap swimmer, a toddler and a teenager who wants to dive each need something different from a pool. We ask who is travelling before suggesting anything, and the shortlist follows from that.
Wellness beside the water
Spa and wellness treatments can be arranged on request, and several of these villas have a hammam or massage room close to the pool. Your concierge books therapists or a private yoga or fitness coach around your swimming and beach days.
One contact all summer
A single dedicated contact follows your stay from the first call to departure. If a lunch by the pool, a boat day or a late change of plan needs arranging, there is one person to ask.

Ask our teamAre the pools in your Saint-Tropez villas heated?
Yes. Every villa in our Saint-Tropez collection has a heated pool, from the infinity pool at Villa Calista to the 18 metre pool at Villa Orea. Heating is especially welcome early and late in the season. If you are looking for a villa with heated pool in Saint-Tropez for particular dates, your proposal confirms the details.
Which villa has an infinity pool over the sea?
Villa Calista, on the waterfront inside the gated Parcs de Saint-Tropez. Its heated infinity pool seems to merge with the bay, below a main living room that faces the sea and opens onto covered terraces. The villa also has a private helipad and a service team that includes a private chef, a butler and a housekeeper.
Is there a villa for children who love the water?
Villa Solara is the one families usually ask about. Its heated pool has a diving board, with a cold plunge pool and a hot tub beside it, and the grounds add a lit tennis court, a pétanque court and a play area with a trampoline, a swing and a slide. Childcare can be arranged on request.
Can meals be served by the pool?
Breakfast is served daily in every stay. At Villa Vittoria, Villa Calista and Villa Solara a private chef is included, and elsewhere one can be arranged on request. Villa Solara also has a professional summer kitchen with a pizza oven, a barbecue and a teppanyaki plancha beside a covered terrace.
How do we choose between villas beyond the pool?
Tell us how you picture the days, who is coming and whether the beach or the village matters more. We reply with a tailored proposal setting out the residences, their layouts and the services, with prices on request. Nothing is confirmed until you sign the rental agreement, and some residences we work with are not published online.
